Geometry Honors
Instructor: Isabelle Henderson
This course is one of the four of math classes required for graduation from McGehee.  In geometry we will use logical reasoning, measurement, geometric construction and computers to investigate the special relationships of lines, angles, triangles, circles, polygons and polyhedrons.  By using these methods we will learn, among other things, about congruence and similarities of triangles, area and volume, the Pythagorean Theorem, geometric proofs and the basics of trigonometry.  This course is designed to provide content and problem solving skills needed for success in college, careers, and daily life.
